Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Prachi Oswal — founder of Tapestried.
Back in 2014, I was just a curious design student trying to figure out where life would take me. I got into a design school loving the creativity it offered, but truth be told — I had no clue what I’d actually end up doing.
Then in 2016, something changed. I was introduced to weaving — and it just clicked. There was something magical about the loom, the textures, the rhythm — I was hooked. That day unknowingly marked the beginning of a journey I never looked back on.
Fast forward to 2021 — in the middle of lockdown, just out of college, with nowhere to go but hands full of creative energy — Tapestried was born. What began with a single frame and a few posts on Instagram slowly grew into a brand. One order turned into many. One frame became installations taller than me. One technique became four.
Today, Tapestried brings you the art of weaving, macramé, punch needle, and tufting — handcrafted to create unique, high-quality wall décor and accessories that feel just right for you. Whether it’s something bold and colorful or soft and neutral, every piece is made with care, creativity, and a touch of fun.
